Keyboard shortcuts

InnerHook works well from the keyboard. Here's every shortcut in the app, grouped by where you use it. On a Mac, ⌘ is Command, ⌥ is Option and ⇧ is Shift.

⌘ ↵ Ctrl Enter On Home: Continue writing (opens your last song)
↵ Enter On Home, when nothing else has the focus: Continue writing
⌘ ↵ Ctrl Enter In the New song dialog: press the quick button at the top (Start writing or Autodraft ✨) from any question
↵ Enter In the New song dialog: next question
⇧ ↵ Shift Enter In the New song dialog's idea: a new line

Writing in the editor

↵ ↵ Enter Enter Enter twice: start a new section (Sections)
/ / At the start of a word: open the / menu (section types, tools and more)
Space Space On an empty line: open the Space menu
⌘ Z Ctrl Z Undo (only your own changes, never a co-writer's)
⌘ ⇧ Z or ⌘ Y Ctrl Shift Z or Ctrl Y Redo
⌘ ⌥ M Ctrl Alt M Comment on the selected words (Comments)
⌘ ⇧ ↵ Ctrl Shift Enter Turn Write mode on or off
Esc Esc Leave Write mode (after closing any open menu or suggestion first)
⌘ \ Ctrl \ Pin the side panel open, or fold it to its icons
Esc Esc Discard an AI suggestion that's showing in the text
⇧ Tab Shift Tab Jump from the text to the section's label
↓ ↓ On a section's label, version or ⋮ button: open its menu
Esc Esc On a section's label: back to the text
